Understand the principle before the equipment
HVAC uses the word pressure in more than one context. Refrigeration pressures describe conditions inside the sealed refrigerant circuit, while static pressure describes resistance to airflow in duct systems.
Refrigerant pressure is directly related to saturation temperature for a given refrigerant. Duct pressure tells us how hard the blower must work to move air through filters, coils and ductwork.
These measurements are not interchangeable, but both reveal how the system is operating.
